Guest Information
We care about our guests' comfort and safety, so here are some important things to know when you are a guest at Blodgett Wedding Barn.
Although our dressing areas have heat and A/C, the reception area does not; dress for the weather.
If you need handicapped parking, let the parking attendant know.
Smoking and vaping are allowed outside the barn only.
No cannabis is allowed on the property.
Absolutely NO alcohol is to be brought onto the property, including the parking lot, other than what the bar service provides.
(This includes gifts to the couple or to the wedding party. Such gifts need to be given elsewhere.)
No drinking of any beverages in the vehicles or in the parking lot.
Beverages may not be carried to or from the parking lot.
(Breaking any of these alcohol/beverage policies will cause the client to forfeit all damage deposit.)
Vehicles may be left overnight and parked north of the drive, but must be picked up between 8 -10 AM.
Rustic Charm
The Blodgett Wedding Barn is located on our 200 acre farm that we have owned for 20 years. There is something special about a farm and our 10 children and 9 grandchildren (to date) have loved exploring the land and the barns over the years. Surrounded by peach trees, sunflowers and corn and alfalfa fields, we couldn't imagine a better setting for a wedding venue. So when our daughter got engaged, we got busy transforming one of the barns into a beautiful reception barn. Wanting to keep as much of the rustic look as possible, we saved the 40' long wall of doors that led to the various stalls and placed them on the outer wall. We chose Edison style lighting to add to the rustic charm and made decorative signs with old barn boards. Wanting to invite the outdoors in, we left the back open for a beautiful orchard view and hung windowed tents sides that can be closed for inclement weather.

Having a daughter just get married, we know the necessary steps to take to help the day run smoothly and we are here to assist you throughout the planning process and to oversee your wedding day to make it everything you dreamed it would be.
Photo opportunities
Blodgett Wedding Barn has a variety of photo settings. The wrap-around front porch of the 1800's built farmhouse is ideal for either a romantic picture of the bridal couple or a large family picture. Then there are the various farm buildings in which to use as a background, including Wedding Barn, a chicken coop, and a brick smokehouse. The fruit orchard and a garden of sunflowers which draws much attention by photographers are also picturesque spots. So whether you are looking for a setting for graduation pictures, a family photo shoot, engagement pictures, or your special wedding day, Blodgett Wedding Barn provides the scenery.
Reception Barn
Our reception barn has what you need to host your special event. With 2530 square feet of floor space in the reception room plus an additional space for buffet line and a covered bar area there is ample room to accommodate 200 guests and still allow a large dance floor area.  We have  2 handicapped bathrooms, a kitchen for your caterer's needs and not only a bridal suite and grooms quarters, but also a comfortable family gathering room.
Ceremony Locations
Looking for an outdoor wedding, consider making your vows in the midst of a fruit orchard. Another option is to have your guests seated around the beautiful gazebo as you make your covenant together. A third option is a garden of sunflowers as your backdrop for the ceremony. We have recently added a beautiful circular lavender garden that we believe will be the new favorite. This site has an additional set-up fee. We provide white spindle-back chairs for your guests at any location.
